Tender to Yalla

Tender to Yalla

Younique Yachts’ first delivery is pictured here, a limousine tender for the CRN-built Yalla. LOA for the all-aluminum boat is 31 feet (9.5 meters). She reportedly hit 40 knots on sea trials. The tender features an aft cockpit and seating, plus a climate-controlled interior outfitted with leather settees to each side (below). Teak lies underfoot both outside and inside. Younique Yachts collaborated with Omega Architects for the design, since the firm was also responsible for Yalla. The client requested a tender that bore some similarities to the mothership. Take a good look at the curved glass. The color is the same as the glass of Yalla., thanks to spectral analysis. Younique Yachts shaped the glass sections on molds, each of the latter being hand-built.

Younique Yachts’ YALLA shortlisted for Tender Award 2015

Built for Italian shipyard CRN earlier this year, a limousine tender to the 73-metre motor yacht Yalla (CRN 132) has been shortlisted for the Tender Design Award 2015. Younique Yachts has constructed T/T mega yacht Yalla in close partnership with two other Dutch companies: Frank Laupman of Omega Architects and Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The unique design by Frank Laupman was built according to the highest quality standard. T/T superyacht Yalla is 31 ft long and with a water displacement of 4500 kg it reached a top speed over 40 knots during the trial run. During the mandatory sea trials on the North Sea the tender performed exceptionally well despite the choppy water.

People can board the ship on the lower aft deck or the higher foredeck, enabling the crew to help passengers get on and off board safely. A smartly designed bow ladder is available for easy access to the beach. Comfortable leather seating offers ample room to sit for 12 persons. To keep the temperature at a pleasant level, a double climate control system has been installed. The crew in the cockpit has a good view of the accommodation and can swiftly and easily reach the engine and installations.

Frank Laupman listened to the owner’s wishes and designed a tender that is just good-looking and representative as the mother yacht. The lay-out of its teak decks, the unique colouring of the window glass, the paint job, the leather and the finishing… Everything was designed and executed with the mother yacht in mind. The windows of the Tender to super yacht Yalla are real eye-catchers. The specialists of Younique Yachts custom built the 12 separate windows to form a sleek and smooth whole.

Unity and uniformity is what Younique Yachts is all about. Windows, door fittings, fender hooks and all other separate parts need to form a balanced unity.
